On Monday I got a new Barska viewing scope. It has been working well for the past few days letting me see things hundreds of feet away. It comes with a mini tripod which is very well made and sturdy but not very large, a carrying case for the scope and tripod, and of course the viewing scope.(It also came with a lens cleaning cloth and a year long warranty. It came surprisingly light at only about one and three quarters of a pound alone. I took advantage of its light weight by, during my lunch, walking around my school trying to find nice areas to see birds. It gets set up easily and of course its water proof. I find it great for looking at waterfowl (herons, ducks, terns, gulls, etc.) and landed birds in general (woodpeckers especially). Great for a first viewing scope it is very sturdy and I give it a Ten out of ten.
